Early this morning we will go to sandy and rocky shores in search of Blackish and Common oystercatchers, and a taste of some localized species along the Peruvian coast. These include Seaside Cinclodes, Peruvian Tern, Inca Tern, Chilean Flamingos, a number of wading birds (in June and July) and possibly even Black Skimmers and Andean Condors. Paracas Peninsula is one of the few places where Andean Condors descend to sea level. Later the same day we will look for the coastal desert endemic Slender-billed Finch and other coastal species.
